at our school we present the homecoming court by making them do funny (not embarrasing)things. This year our theme for homecoming was "around the world." so the couples picked famous cities with distinctive cultures from around the world. they dressed up as if they were to live there, then we played music of that backround while they showed off their outfits. Most of the guys dressed like girls to add extra flavor. ex: greece, paris, bahammas, ireland, egypt
we also had to include our teachers, so we had a Mr. Legs and Ms. Muscles contest. All week we have mystery photos sitting out attached to cans. We say who the teachers are but not which one matches which picture. (about 5 teachers for each) students can toss a penny, dim, nichel, whatever, into the can whom they think has the best legs/muscles. At the pep ralley you get the guy teachers to were cheerleading skirts (also for the pictures)and announce the winner. and you can announce Ms. muscles also. Many students find this activity lots of fun. especially seeing the guy teachers or principal in a skirt.
