You seriously need an instructor. Trying to make up a colorguard routine is no easy job for a captain. Some people just can't make up routines. But being inexperienced and making up a routine is even harded. If you are going to compete, the judges will be judging your technique. Your situation right now could end in disaster. An instructor is what you need. So i suggest you start looking. It seems that everyone wants to be an instructor, but you can never find a good one when you need them.
