I think you should still tryout for junior captain. You can't be sure that they'll automatically pick this other girl and later on you might regret not trying out. After all, you have nothing to lose right? Just give it your all and have a positive attitude about it. Oh and about your PS..Some of the girls on my guard are working on a website with me. It's focused STRICTLY on color guard. It's in the works right now but hopefully it'll become better. The link to it is below. Well, good luck in whatever you decide to do.
