: Hi, My name is Megan and I am on my high school's flag team. We are always looking for new moves- I am especially interested in moves that involve dancing under the flag (that might not make sense). Let me rephrase it: Instead of just standing in one spot and twirling the flag, can anyone send me stuff on moves that involve movement AND flag moves?

: But I'm not picky- if you have any moves can you send them to me? I'd REALLy appreciate it!

: Thank you!

Hi, In my guard they call me Muscles (cuz the first time I tried to toss a rifle I tossed a 5). There's lots of stuff we do under the flags, like under a toss we'll jump over short backdrops, run, do forward rolls, backwards rolls, different hand motions, level changes, spinning aroung, and exchanges (tossing to other people). Without tosses, you can lie down, move on and off boxes, trade equiptment with people, run, jazz run, roll, level changes, and much more. Judges like splits a lot too. There's plenty of stuff you can do, just think of something you're good at dance-wise, then try to add it to flag work. For example, if your whole guard can do baxckwards rolls, have everyone who can toss maybe a 5 or 6 on a weapon, roll back under it, and catch it. That could get some serious points, but it's hard to do on flag (basically impossible) so on flag you might try doing a split or something similar to that. Just take 2 different things you can do and put them together. I hope I helped! If you need more help or want me to explain any of this stuff, post here again and I write back! Bye!
~Muscles~
