Just stay calm and do not get all worked up about it. If they do not continue to listen to you just stand there and do not count and just stare at them. If that does not work. go to the band instrctor or even your instructor and sit down with them and explain to them your situation so maybe they can sit down those girls who do not listen to you and explain to them you are in charge and you have every right to make them run alap. Obviousy if you were not good they would not have choosen you for head captain. Right? So just stick through this year it is not that bad.
