Congrats on being named an officer! In order to help, I need more information. 1) If someone doesn't listen to the drum majors, what is the "punishment?" Not just for you, but for everyone in the band. 2) Why does your instructor want the routines changed? 3) Why do you think they can't be changed? 4)Are the other officers having this problem?
