being that SD is a detective show, have you given any thought to spinning HUGE oversized magnifying glasses???? They could be cut out of cardboard, wrapped in tape, and then glue or tape clear vinyl (available at most fabric stores) over the opening for he glass.....more of a dance prop than guard EQ, but it's a thought.
