I was just recently thrown into the position of Asst. Color Guard coach for my younger sister's high school band. I have never done this before. I have a background in dance and that's it. The Band director was in the color guard when she was younger and is helping but not much. I have their first practice tonight. The director has made one routine already but I would like to know more about this and how to do things before getting any deeper. Does anyone know of any websites or places I can get "free" or very cheap instructions on how to be in a color guard, how to do the moves, etc? You can e-mail me or respond here.
